Front squat: 45 x 5, 95 x 5, 135 x 3, 165 x 1, 185 x 1 (match old PR), 200 x fail (2x fail). Ahh well, coming off a rest week and feeling a little like something is creeping up on me (and other people since my first class was about 90% full of snifflers today).
New weight PR, first time I have ever weighed over 200 pounds. Weighed 202, 200, and 199.4 (before dinner and milk) the past three days in the afternoon. I am finally an adult male according to 70sbig.com (although just barely). I'm going to try and add another 10-15 pounds and then stabilize around 205.
Awesome PRs today. Improvements in depth and form too!
I did: Overhead squats 33x5x2 63x3 98x2x5. Much better today. Made myself look straight ahead/slightly down. Also let/forced my shoulders to rotate back which took care all the problems I've had with OHS. Press: 45x5 65x3 80x4x4. Nothing special. Low bar back squats. First time doing these in 4 months. Relearning hip drive and getting comfortable with bar placement again. 45x5x2 95x5 115x5 135x5 145x5x2 Thanks to Wendy for watching the depth on my last set!
